We went here last summer but still felt Kips deserved a late review. A local farmer at the lodge recommended it as he loved seeing locals and travelers conversing over beer and pizza. He was right. The outside appearance is deceiving but really is unpretentious and staff was super nice and down to earth. Pizza was really tasty and they had a nice selection of beers. Capper was seeing families , young folk and old enjoying themselves- conversing. Thanks to the local farmer - we have this to look back on.

The rustic/weathered atmosphere is well compensated for by Anna’s super kind and welcoming service. The fries were great. And the beer was cold and yummy.

After a long day of hiking, this is the best spot in town that’s limited for dinner options. I had buffalo wings with fries and a PBR. The wings and the fries were fresh and crispy.

Passed by this spot while out looking for some place that sold firewood. It was late at night and end of season, so no surprise that the bar was not fully stocked. Still, you could tell that this place is fun during peak season. The cider I had was very good, but I wouldn't call this place a beer garden. If ever back in Glacier, during the summer, I would definitely go back and give this place another try.
